We have several volunteer opportunities coming up in December and we wanted to give you plenty of notice! These are great events to help fulfill your 25 hours of volunteer time. We would be so grateful for your help to make these events memorable for our students.
Events coming up:
St. Nick Shoes | December 1-2: This is a STV tradition where students bring in an old shoe (with their name written on the bottom) and leave it out in the school hallway before they leave to go home for the day. When they return the next morning, the shoes are filled with goodies from St. Nick. Donations (1 hour for $30 spent): Apples/Oranges, Mini Candy Canes (wrapped in plastic), Hershey Kisses (Plain, Milk Chocolate) Volunteer Time: 4-6 Volunteers to arrive at 7:00pm to fill shoes in hallways. Preschool Christmas Show | December 10: Two people are needed on from 5:15-7:30 pm in the gym to serve at the Refreshment Table at the Preschool Christmas Program. This includes setting up, making punch, serving refreshments, cleaning up, and seeing the adorable preschoolers sing their Christmas songs! SIGN-UP HERE
St. Nick Fest | December 3: St. Nick Fest has become a favorite for children at St. Vincent. There are carnival games, cookie decorating tables, a cake walk, face painting, make-and-take crafts, letters to Santa & raffles. We also need help setting up and tearing down everything. This is a HUGE event that only works with the generous efforts & support from our parent volunteers. SIGN UP HERE
