Maggie Light
Primary/Elementary Grade P.E & Library Teacher
Ms. Light has been a part of St. Vincent de Paul school for many years, from SACCP to PreK; and now as the Physical Education and Library teacher. It started when she attended St. Vincent as a student from 1st to 8th grade. Her mother went on to work as a PreSchool Aide and from there, Ms. Light started working in SACCP. She took a break from working to be at home with her daughter and soon returned to work in the PreK room and now as the PE/Library teacher. Ms. Light holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati. She grew up here, in Mount Vernon and still resides here with her daughter, who currently attends St. Vincent de Paul PreSchool. Her favorite thing about St. Vincent de Paul School is the feeling of a big family; we are all such a tight-knit community.
