Box of Joy Advent Service Project 2025

During September and October, St. Vincent de Paul School will once again be participating in the Box of Joy ministry, a Christmas shoebox gift outreach coordinated by Catholic schools, parishes, and organizations across the country. This beautiful ministry brings joy and the message of Jesus to children suffering from extreme poverty in developing countries such as Haiti, Malawi, and the Dominican Republic.
This year, our school has committed to packing 30 Boxes of Joy. Each box will be filled with small toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and other thoughtful gifts that can fit inside a shoebox. In addition, every box will include a rosary and a booklet titled The Story of Jesus, planting seeds of hope and sharing the Gospel message.
We invite you to join us in this effort by making small weekly donations of the items listed in our weekly bulletin or class announcements. As you and your family collect these items, we kindly ask you to pray for the children and families who will receive them—that they may feel God’s love and the joy of Christmas through your generosity.
Together, let’s make a lasting impact and bring light to children around the world this Christmas season.
