St. Vincent de Paul Preschool in Mount Vernon, Ohio would like to hire a part-time

Preschool Aide for the 2025-2026 school year, September through May, with regular

school breaks off.

The days and hours for this position are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:15 a.m. to

2:45 p.m.

The Preschool Aide will:

interact with preschool students in a loving, positive, joyful manner, be a good role
model, and help children learn good behavior;
assist with all areas as directed by the Preschool Teacher: circle time, art projects,
math activities, science experiments, games, snacks, songs, stories, etc.;
supervise children in the classroom, on the playground, in the gym, etc.;
help in other ways, such as organizing, cleaning, etc.;
follow safety and health guidelines.

The successful candidate will be an energetic team player, take direction from the

Preschool Teacher and the Preschool Director, be comfortable upholding the religious

(Catholic/Christian) teachings of the school, be reliable, and will have experience with

children. Must have a high school diploma, be able to use stairs, and lift a child up to 40

pounds.

Preschool Extended Care (PSEC) (Program Assistants) Posted June 30, 2025

St. Vincent de Paul Preschool in Mount Vernon, Ohio would like to hire two part-time

Program Assistants for our in-house day care program (Preschool Extended Care) for

the 2025-2026 school year, September through May, with regular school breaks off.

Assistant 1:

Mondays through Thursdays from 3:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m.

Assistant 2:

Mondays through Thursdays 3:00 p.m.-5:45 p.m. AND

Fridays 2:30 p.m.-5:45 p.m.

Each Program Assistant will:

interact with preschool students in a loving, positive, joyful manner, be a good role
model, and help children learn good behavior;
lead activities and games, read stories, prep crafts, etc.;
supervise children in the classroom, on the playground, in the gym, etc.;
help in the classroom in other ways, such as organizing, cleaning, etc.;
follow safety and health guidelines.

Preschool Director and team leader, be comfortable upholding the religious

School-Age Extended Care (SAACP) (Program Assistant) Posted June 16, 2025

St. Vincent de Paul School in Mount Vernon, Ohio would like to hire three part-time Program Assistants in our School-Age Extended Care program. We are currently looking for staff to cover afternoon hours, Monday - Friday from August 2025 - May 2026 with regular school breaks off.

The Program Assistant will:

interact with Kindergarten-8th grade students in a loving, positive, joyful manner
assist with homework, craft activities, science projects, games, ect.
supervise children in the classroom, on the playground, in the gym, etc.
help in the classroom in other ways, such as organizing, cleaning, etc.
provide and assist with snack time while following safety and health guidelines.
