Meet our Pre-Kindergarten Teacher: Mrs. Ann WareBell

Hello! I'm the Pre-K teacher at St. Vincent de Paul School. I have been teaching at St. Vincent since 2018 and everyday is a true blessing. I love teaching this age group and preparing them for Kindergarten! My husband Larry and I moved from Columbus to Marengo nine years ago. We began attending mass at St. Vincent de Paul church & fell in love with this great community. From that moment on, we have been proud Blue Streaks!!

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up:

I wanted (or thought I wanted) to be a veterinarian!


What is your favorite hobby?

Hobbies are camping, walking in the woods and reading!


What is your favorite travel destination?

Put-In-Bay, Ohio


Tell us about your family.

My husband's name is Larry and we have a 7 year old daughter, Barbara Bell.


What kind of pets do you have, if any? What are their names?

We have a goat named Harley. A dog named Hersey and a chicken named Lucky (because she is the only survivor out of six!)


Are you a sports fan? If so, what is your favorite team?

We love Ohio State football and volleyball. We also like The Crew and the Bengals.


What causes are you passionate about?

St. Jude's Hospital is a cause I try to support as much as I can.


What is an interesting fact about you?

I am also a State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) at Bennington Glen Nursing home.
