Our dedicated, hard-working team of faculty and staff makes St. Vincent de Paul School and Preschool what it is today. The faculty has over 200 years of combined teaching experience. Seventy-five percent of our graduates continue to play high school sports and eight out of ten of our graduates attend college. We have been honored as a “Buckeye Best School” award and grant recipient since 2003, we are listed in the Global Directory of Who’s Who, and we are accredited by the state of Ohio through the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association.
Mrs. Duffy has been a staff member at St. Vincent de Paul School since August 2000. Her jobs have included 5th grade teacher, 7th grade Language Arts, 2nd grade teacher, Extended Care (SACCP/PSEC) Director, and presently, 4th grade teacher. Mrs. Duffy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Ohio Dominican College and has a Master’s degree in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College. Mrs. Duffy has called St. Vincent school and parish ‘home’ for many years! She is an alumni herself, was married at St. Vincent, and her husband and her have been raising their daughters (Makayla and Claire) at St. Vincent as well. When Mrs. Duffy isn’t in the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family and going all over central Ohio to watch her daughter Claire swim or watch either Makayla or Claire run track. Outside of St. Vincent, Mrs. Duffy is also involved in 4H for Knox County.
