St. Vincent de Paul students are encouraged but not required to participate in athletic activity. A number of opportunities are offered throughout the school year. Athletes are challenged in a competitive environment against other schools in the Columbus Diocese. Seventy-five percent of our graduates continue to play high school sports.
Soccer is a summer sport at St. Vincent de Paul School. Practices begin in July, with the bulk of the season being played in August. There is little overlap with the fall sports season.
St. Vincent’s fields separate boys and girls volleyball teams, beginning in 4th Grade. Volleyball is a fall sport, with most of the matches played in September and October.
St. Vincent fields separate boys and girls basketball teams, beginning in 4th Grade. Basketball is a winter sport, with most of the games played in January and early February.
Track & Field
Track and field is a spring sport for boys and girls, beginning in 4th Grade. Events include various sprints, distance runs, jumps, and throws. Meets occur on Saturdays in April.
